4. Club Fees & Memebership Dues
Tampa Bay Drone Club is a member dues club. The fees are used to help offset costs or running website, events, and other administrative fees.
Currently, the membership fees for individuals are:

By paying via credit card, a one-time payment via credit card will be required before your membership activation date. If you are paying in cash (preferred), you can pay the event organizer directly at the event you are attending. If you are hosting land, your membership dues will be waived and not charged for the duration of the sponsorship. If you have provided a promo code, the code will be used to calculate the amount due and will be sent at a later time.
5. Hosting Land
Do you have land to let TBDC Hosts Events & Open Fly Days? We provide free accounts for sponsor accounts with land owners who let us host/run frequent events.
Only Fill Out If You Have Adquete Space For Open Flying Days @ Special Events. Not every location will be eligible for free membership accounts.
6. Terms & Conditions Of Membership
All Pilots Must Agree To Club Rules & Bylaws Of Membership. By joining TBDC You agree to follow all rules & by-laws located here
7. Insurace Requirements
All Pilots Must Provide Their Own Liability Insurance. TBDC will not cover any costs associated with damages, including death, injury, or property loss. Applicant waives all rights to hold TBDC liable for any damages, whether implied or not implied.
9. Waiver & Release Of Rights
By Signing Applicant Waives All Rights To Sue, and hold TBDC its member's, directors, other members, land owner and other parties associated with any damages including but not limited to property damage, death or financial loss. Applicant Understands the above activities monetary costs and potential risks before signing this application. TBDC reserves the right to remove membership accounts at will in accordance with club rules bylaws, event terms and terms of use. Applicant gives all rights for TBDC and its membership team to take any and all necessary means to look up applicant information on information provided in this application including to create an online account or setup a account for applicant. Applicant understands this application is legally binding and fully enforced in the State of Florida, and cannot be changed without written permission by tampa bay drone club and or its approved membership team or board of directors.
WAIVER OF ALL CLAIMS AND RELEASE OF LIABILITIES FOR RADIO CONTROL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT USING FIRST-PERSON VIEW EVENT
For and in consideration of permitting the undersigned individual to spectate, participate in any way, or officiate in aircraft modeling activities at this FPV Racing Event Ran By Tampa Bay Drone Club (TBDC) beginning on the first effective date of my membership to the expriation or termination of my active memebership. The Undersigned hereby voluntarily waives, releases, discharges and relinquishes any and all claims, actions or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death occurring to him/her arising as a result of FPV Racing modeling activities and any activities incidental thereto wherever or however the same may occur and for whatever period said FPV Racing event may continue, and the Undersigned does, for him/herself, his/her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, release, discharge and relinquish any and all claims, actions or causes of action as just mentioned, which may hereafter arise for him/herself and for his/her estate, and agree that under no circumstances will he/she or his/her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns present any claim for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death against the Event Sponsor, Contest Director, any and all officials at the event, Tampa Bay Drone Club (TBDC), any and all clubs involved in this event, the site owners, and/or any other site owners involved or sites used in this event, Tampa Bay Drone Club, and/or their officers, agents, servants or employees for any and all said claims, actions, or causes of action, whether the same shall arise by negligence of any said persons, or otherwise.
I recognize that safety equipment and/or safety netting used at FPV Racing events are not totally effective in preventing injury or death, even when used and positioned according to instructions and common sense. While some level of protection is provided by netting and/or safety equipment used at FPV Racing events, there still remains the risk of injury or death even when provided with net protection.
I am also aware that modeling may present hazards to participants and/or spectators as a result of any number of factors including but not limited to, unpredictable deviations from flight plans, equipment malfunctions, and the uneven terrain over which modeling may occur.
