FAQ:
What is the cost for hosting a drone demonstration day?
We currently do not charge for drone demonstration days. Requests for these types of events are as available as they come. We reserve the right to reject or change the date due to unforeseen events, such as airspace restrictions or weather-related issues.
Can i request a drone demonstration day at my school or event grounds?
Yes, you may request a drone demonstration event at a location you do not own. However, we will require that you sign a release of liability waiver and get approval from the landowner. The contact information of the landowner or governmental agency must be printed on the waiver.
How much Space is needed to host a drone demonstration area?
We require, as part of the event and safety of the attendees, at least a 100 x 100 space. This should include a space for a 10x10 ez up and at least an adequate flying location that can be zoned off to prevent collisions.

No, TBDC will not pay event fees or also known as "vendor" fees. Since TBDC does not sell physical products, we will not be obligated to pay for vendor or event fees.
What Types of Aircraft Will be Flown?
Since TBDC is a community of hobbyists, you will sample different types of aircraft, including self-built "FPV" drones, GPS Drones, Thermal Drones, and more. Depending on the event of interest, we may also provide other demonstrations on the day of the event.
What day's cant you fly?
We can't fly in wind speeds faster than 15mph or any rain or light rain conditions. In addition, any time past civil twilight (30 mins after sunset) cannot be flown due to FAA Regulations.
Do you follow FAA (Federal Reguations?)
Yes, TBDC takes the up most care to respect our national airspace. All pilots are required to follow the rules and follow our terms and conditions of their membership during the event. Before the event, TBDC will check the airspace class to ensure that the flight is permitted.
